Yoga for you

The word yoga has its origin in the Sanskrit root jugit, which means to join together. Yoga gives you the possibility of experiencing yourself in your own body: Who are you? Who are we as human beings, and what connects us with one another?
Through yoga you become aware of every aspect of your self. It is the striving for balance, for a neutral perspective on what surrounds you and on yourself. Through that awareness you come, more and more often and for longer, into a state of harmony with yourself and with the world you live in.
When you practise yoga, the inner and the outer dimension of your experience open up. You experience the connection with your heart, with your consciousness and with your soul. This is how you reach your true core, your truest self. In Kundalini Yoga, which we practise, we call the truest self Sat Nam. Recognising your true self also opens the connection with the world, with the cosmos and with everything contained within it. There is no separation between these dimensions.
You vitalise your body and you bring your mind to rest. You increase your well-being, your physical and mental health, and your mindfulness towards yourself and towards your surroundings.
A regular yoga practice leads you into balance. You raise your quality of life in every area. You experience yourself as vital and happy, in harmony with yourself and with the cosmos. You will notice that all your everyday tasks, small and large, come to you with more ease.
